Yup more megadeth info,

Dave sent out watermarked demo's of the new cd and told the owners they were not allowed to put them up for download or give out copys.

Well i geuss a few of them didn't listen and the new cd was leaked out, dave is very pissed about this and so are us droogs.

I geuss these idiot thought nobody was going to care or do anything about it, but the record company is out to hang their asses and daves going to kick the chair.

Please please don't try and download this new cd, this is my fav band and it will only hurt them, plus us droogs are flooding the p2p sharing programs with fakes so be warned.

Who cares. Downloading music doesn't hurt them all that much and it's not like they won't make enough money anyway.

For me, if I don't download it, I simply don't hear it at all. So either way they're not getting my money. However, if I listen to an album and really like it, I'll probably buy it.

Thus goes the perpetual pros and cons argument about downloading.

You don't have to worry about me downloading it,
I wouldn't do anything to hurt Mustaine or Megadeth. Though my personal download wouldn't cost them very much at all, it would then become part of the disease that grows like a cancer and when enough of the "cells" do it, you have a very large tumor.

Sorry, but I just don't think it hurts the band that much.

The studio? Maybe. But I don't give a shit about some rich fat cat losing a bit of money.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Exactly! I know for myself personally that availabilty of downloadable music has never stopped me from buying something I would have anyway. And like Toymank said, I have on more than one occasion "sampled" something I otherwise would not have ever heard by downloading it and ended up buying the CD.

However, I know that people with this philosophy are in the minority (too many peeps are just cheap @ss free loaders), and so in general I do support "cracking down" on pirated/free downloading of music.

    Just my $0.02

Ive got nothing agasint downloading songs if your going to buy the cd, but what im saying is if it's leaked to early people will listen to it over and over and have no interest in buying it once it's released.

Hell dave said he even knew this would probably happen, but he was hoping it wouldn't be so soon because like i said the longer they have it to listen to the more likely they won't buy it when it's released.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I care, and let me tell you how it can hurt the band and has done before,

The world needs another hero was leaked 8 MONTHS before it's release date, well with everyone downloading it and having it for 8 months it killed sales only 200,000 copy were sold world wide.

With a band like megadeth that takes alot of money away from them, and their by far rich, if they were dave wouldn't have had to sold all his equipment to pay the record company off .

So don't sit there and tell me it don't hurt the band, it may not hurt metallicash but dave don't make the money they do.

Yeah alot of people "say they will buy the cd but they never do and that's why it can hurt the band, are you in a band do you know that it don't hurt them and just because their know and on the radio and have cds out don't mean thier rich.
